We have been passionately designing t-shirts with his design team for around 15 years for a range of clothing brands including some of the world’s largest retailers, including: Just Group, Cotton On, Myer, Target, Witchery, plus many others.
Which lead to designing consumer products, and packaging design for global retailers including:
We kept getting busier, so we hired a few more full-time designers.
The big retailers began squeezing out their wholesale suppliers,
as they went vertical and started building their in-house teams, so they could make more profit.
This is mainly due to the fact that digital printing quality is amazing. (Even on dark fabric, and I will share the tech specs shortly.) The printers don’t take up much space and are a lot cheaper to purchase than automated screen printing machines ...
…and it’s also far more economical to print than screen printing on low volumes.
Plus with the internet becoming THE number one place to sell t-shirts, smaller businesses just like yours can now offer new designs, printed on your t-shirts and products, on the day that the design is completed!!
The only problem is now that you have a t-shirt printing business, you constantly need new designs, and I know how frustrating it can be searching online only to find designs that are uncreative ‘clip-art’ and that have no thought or passion behind it! and let’s be honest clip art on the whole is not very cool to wear!!
